Gabriel is also chairman of ITVentures Ltd., a leading Internet investment company headquartered in Hong Kong. ITVentures Ltd. investments include Digital Vision Multimedia, a Chinese educational software developer; Digital Creation Co., Ltd., a leading Internet/Intranet developer based in Hong Kong; and ChineseBooks Cyberstore, the largest Chinese online bookstore.

Gabriel holds an Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Hong Kong University.

Dr. N. Rao Machiraju, Director
Rao is a co-founder of Magically, Inc. and has been actively involved in developing strategic partnerships for Magically, Inc. Rao is the CEO of ConceptLabs, which offers technical, strategic and management services to startup firms.

Previously, Rao worked at Apple Computer for ten years, where he headed various groups including the Learning Lab, one of Apple's three research labs. Rao worked on a number of research and prototype development efforts in information retrieval, case based reasoning, and organizational memory and holds patents and has written a number of papers.

Prior to Joining Apple, Rao was a visiting faculty member at UCLA and adjunct faculty at California State University, Northridge and Chapman College. Rao is on the editorial boards of Journal of Expert Systems and Journal of Telematics and Informatics. Currently he is on the Board of Councilors of NSF's Center on Multi-Media Computing at the University of Southern California.

Rao has an interdisciplinary educational background in public health (MPH from California State University at Northridge), general systems and information networks (Certificate from United Nations Institute for Research and Training, University of Stockholm and UCLA), and instructional technology (Doctorate from University of Southern California).
